Toronto Tours Ltd was launched in 1972 by John D. Ryan, the company’s founder and President. His vision has seen Toronto Tours Ltd. develop from very modest beginnings to being one of the leading companies in tourism and transportation.

It all started by offering tours of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region to visitors to Toronto. It wasn’t long before we expanded to include a wide range of tours for tourists and tour operators. Soon we entered the meetings and convention market and then into the area of transportation.

Our green strategies

Toronto Tours Ltd. and all our associated companies are fully committed to implementing ecco policies that will help reduce our carbon footprint. Spanning our entire fleet and facilities, our "green" strategies are designed to help protect and sustain our fragile environment.

Training and environmental awareness plays big part in the success of these strategies. That includes driving trips to enhance fuel efficiency as well as anti-idling practices to reduce vehicle emissions.

We’ve also fully embraced other company-wide green initiatives. These include waste and recycling programs, double sided printing, and a steady move towards a “paperless” office for staff, clients and customers. In addition, only environmentally friendly cleaning products are used for washing our fleet and facilities.
